WHEN TO USE?
For frequent riders, T.neoPro is ideally suited for your daily lunchtime ride or, if you are a young avid cyclist and new to ASSOS, these are the shorts you should start off with to enter the ASSOS total comfort universe.
The very particular, minimal pattern design is the result of wind-tunnel testing conducted specifically for our aero chronosuit FENOMENO, which was engineered for use by the Swiss Cycling Federation at the London Olympic Games in 2012. Bib construction is no longer made of spandex like the shorts, it's a Y-shaped construction system on both the front and back which ensures that the unit stays in a perfectly wrinkle free and contoured position at all times.
Specifically developed elastic leg-grippers for ultra-light volume and an ideally calibrated stretch return which secures the pants firmly to the legs, without applying unnecessary pressure.

This is a specifically calibrated textile with an asymmetrical elastic module. Combined with directional cutting, it supports muscle elongation and stabilizes movements.
In addition to A:E:M:T., the custom fabrics feature a higher percentage of spandex resulting in a stronger return stretch. This minimizes muscle fatigue due to road vibrations.
Antibacterial fiber treatment reduces the effects fabric aging and helps to prevent unpleasant odors.

On generation _s2 FI.13, ASSOS first introduced "memory foam" technology for its shock absorbing foam pads. It means that the foam returns to its original form as soon as pressure is released. Therefore every time pedaling position is changes in the saddle by the rider's shifting weight, the foam "fills the gap".
A major breakthrough in the construction of high performance cyclewear is Golden Gate Technology. Before _s7, all cycling shorts inserts have been fastened (sewn or glued) to shorts all the way around. NOW, "Golden Gate" interrupts the sewing in the area "between the legs", creating 3 dimensional freedom of movement in the most sensitive areas. No seams, hence reduced friction - basically non existing. Patent protected! Be aware of imitations.
