The Cervelo P5disc is focused entirely on your performance. Cervelo applied years of experience in engineering the fastest aero bikes and real-world testing with professional athletes. The result is a bike which pushes the boundaries in every way. This bike is ideal for Time Trials, and triathlons. This bike has minimal storage, but the fastest bike Cervelo has ever made with the top-tube box removed. With the box installed the P5x is slightly more aerodynamic.

Cervelo engineers also knew this would be THE TT bike for the hills. A lighter bike accelerates faster and climbs better to give you every possible advantage on the road.

AERODYNAMICS
The legendary aerodynamics of the original P5 are fine-tuned to create an aero system that is stiffer and lighter than ever before. Its frame shapes, handlebar and fit positions, and design features work together to reduce drag and enhance your efficiency. The cables are 100% hidden and even the Di2 controls have a clean easy-access interface on the back of the aerobar.

BALANCED STIFFNESS
Cervelo refined the stiffness of key points of the frame to create a bike which corners better and transfers power more smoothly. You will feel it from your first pedal stroke: a stiff response that inspires you to pedal harder and go faster.

AERODYNAMICS
Cervelo is the industry pioneer and leader in aerodynamic bicycles. While many competitors are designing their 3 or 4th triathlon bike. Cervelo’s P5disc is their 9th generation triathlon/TT bike. Cervelo was refining designs in the San Diego Low Speed Wind Tunnel (1/2 mile from our Point Loma store) before other brands knew what a wind tunnel was. The P5disc takes cues from the award winning P5 but refines the details for improved stiffness, aerodynamics and disc brakes. The Concept of the P5disc was to create the ultimate bicycle for time trial racing and shorter triathlons (less storage). Essentially this is a no holds bar aero bike, with road bike handling, weight, and stiffness. Storage was not a top priority. If you want the fastest bicycle ever designed by Cervelo probably anyone, this is it. Just don't load it up like a camel. This bike will get slower with added hydration and storage. The included aero bottle on the down tube ads zero drag to the the bike, same with the bottle between the aero bars or behind the saddle. The top tube box will cost you some watts. Tape your repair kit tight under the saddle, remove the top tube box, and get water from aid stations. This rocket-ship doesn't like extra baggage. Race it clean and hold on... literally the fastest bike ever made.

FIT & FUNCTION
Cervelo has always been a favorite brand at Moment Bicycles as they understand our favorite subject... bike fit. The P5disc is no different. If the rider isn't comfortable they are not fast. The geometry accommodates a huge range of riders, and the adjust-ability is second only to the PX series bikes. The aero bars are extremely adjustable vertically, horizontally and in width. The aero bar spec'd on this bike does not tilt. A minor quibble for some, for others bar tilt is critical. Luckily Cervelo didn't forget you either. The PX series bars will fit the P5disc if you need it to refine your position with tilt (available separately).

Disc brakes, thru axles, and aero bars that adjust with a single hex wrench. The days of wrestling with your brakes, and taking 3 hours to pack your bike are over. This bike is fast, and easy to work on. Did we mention we think it's beautiful?!
