The stiffness and lightness comes from the Easton flat carbon soles that provide the perfect perch for your feet and a nearly direct connection to your pedals for maximum efficiency. The great women's fit is courtesy of the breathable Teijin microfiber uppers and Giro's included ergonomic and antimicrobial footbeds. Plus, the double hook-and-loop straps and ratcheting-buckle straps vary in width to provide the ultimate fit and feel. You also get padded heels and split tongues plus tabs on the toes and heels for walking traction and durability.
For a truly custom fit, top-notch pedaling efficiency and awesome comfort, these shoes include Giro’s Supernatural Fit Kit. The kit features Low, Medium and High arch supports for dialing in the ultimate fit and feel.
In order to mount your pedals' cleats to your shoes, they must have matching bolt patterns. There are 3 configurations (diagram) used on cycling shoes, SPD-R, Look/SPD-SL and SPD.
